My Ecstatic Dance Set (Suweiha):
In my ecstatic dance sets, I take dancers on a transformative journey that begins with a meditative flow, allowing us to ground ourselves in the present moment and attune our bodies to the rhythm of our breath. From there, we embark on a tribal heart dance movement, tapping into the primal energy that resides within each of us and allowing it to guide our movements with raw authenticity.
As the music evolves, I lead dancers through a dynamic exploration of movement, seamlessly transitioning between rhythms and genres to evoke a range of emotions and sensations. Together, we traverse through peaks and valleys of energy, surrendering to the music and allowing it to carry us into a state of ecstatic bliss.
Join me on this exhilarating journey of self-expression and liberation as we immerse ourselves in the transformative power of ecstatic dance. Let the music guide you, let your body speak its truth, and let us dance like never before.

What is Ecstatic Dance?
Ecstatic dance is a free-form dance movement inspired and led by carefully crafted music with the intention of creating a healing journey. The music follows a wave form, starting slow, moving to a peak, and descending into stillness. No dance experience or partner is necessary or needed.
In Ecstatic dance participants gather to dance to music without the need of following the instructions of a leader. In Ecstatic Dance the music is the leader, and participants are free to weave their way through the music.
Ecstatic dance is an environment without observers, judgements, attitudes, conversations, shoes, alcohol, or substances. A space where everyone can feel safe to be spontaneous and move however their body wishes.
The intention of Rhythm Sanctuary is to create a safe and open space for freestyle dance movement, where individuals are encouraged to engage in a somatic journey both internally and with community.
